MMy name is Serge Mazerand. I am a pianist and music producer living in BC Canada. All my life, I have nurtured an exciting kinship with nature and water particularly. My dad introduced me to the joys of fishing ----and, I should say, to the incredible spiritual experience of just being near en.Over the years, I became a dedicated fly fisherman and have spent countless hours on or near rivers, lakes and oceans. I have fly fished for sailfish in Panama, for salmon in the North Pacific, pursued Tarpon and bonefish from the Caribean to the South Pacific!I have also enjoyed snorkeling and diving in the beautiful red sea, in the Indian and Atlantic ocean, as well as in the Caribean ! Enough to come to love the Ocean as an entity that is wholly part of me. Enough to witness firsthand it’s incredible beauty and diversity, it’s power and also it’s fragility.It is not by chance that my most recent album, Oceaness, should be dedicated to the Ocean!Now, the time has come for me to give something back and my music happens to be the best way to do just that.Please join me in this project.
